Stephenie's Mosaic Bday Party

What a fun party! My niece, Stephenie invited some of her girl friends over for a mosaic party. They had wooden frames and plates. Each girl chose a different plate then broke it and started to work. The mosaic portion of the party took aproximately 2hours. Everyone left with a creation they completed.
Cat Stepping Stone
The Forotten Feline Thrift Store has been saving their broken plates for our mosaic projects. When a plate with this cat came in the box I told them I'd make a stepping stone for their anniversary sale....here it is.

Robin and I have talked about trying mosaic for years. Luckily Robin's friend and former coworker, Jan is a generous mosaic artist. Jan invited Robin and by extention me to join her group of mosaic enthusists.
Here's a slide show featuring the totem Jan and some of her friends created to commemerate a "significant" birthday.
